We cannot be ruled by fear, instability, and corruption in Ohio any longer. Mehek’s experience in everything from working with the US Attorney’s Office on counter-terrorism and criminal cases to dangerous wild animal enforcement makes her uniquely qualified to defend and protect our families.

Opportunity

Job Creation & Economic Stability

Mehek came to America with nothing. Her father, who made a comfortable living in India, left everything behind to experience the American dream. He worked 3 minimum wage jobs to save money and start a business.  Mehek will fight tax hikes on families, continue to work with small businesses to survive the pandemic, and reduce regulations and unfair rules that hold us back.

Safety in Schools

As a daughter of a public school teacher Mehek knows  our community is blessed with wonderful schools and outstanding teachers. Mehek will work with Governor Mike DeWine to help schools reopen safely. That means maintaining school resource officers to protect our kids, taking the fight to drug dealers who prey on them, and maintaining a safe, clean environment so both teachers and students can continue classroom instruction until COVID-19 is defeated.

Security to Protect Families

Defunding the police is a radical and dangerous plan supported by extremist politicians. As a former employee of the Department of Justice, Mehek has good relationships with law enforcement and  will continue to work with police officers in a way that honors their service, supports their needs, and provides more training, accountability, and protections for the public.

Healthcare Access & Cost Transparency

All Ohioans need affordable, accessible and transparent healthcare. Surprise medical bills wreck family budgets. Today’s politicians have given nothing but lip service to the problems of healthcare costs and access. Once elected, Mehek will work with policymakers to make telemedicine and affordable pricing options permanent so we can make the best decisions for our own care.
